Glamping at the Stonehenge Inn
Having just got back from an amazing trip away, I was so happy with my trip I decided it needed some attention! Accommodation can be purchased with a Wowcher deal where you can really save on the usual price.
The Accommodation Package
My partner and I had a two-night package stay including a breakfast pack, prosecco, and a massage. He won’t tell me the exact price but I know it wasn’t much over £100. We ended up staying in Shepherd’s huts outside and they were amazing. Lovely, warm, cozy, and intimate.
It was wonderful because in the past when we have looked at glamping, camping, and the like sometimes we are a little put off with my mobility issues and my partner needing a Cpap device to sleep. It can be a little tricky as we need both electricity and accessibility. The only issue we had was with stairs into the hut, however, I personally was able to navigate them with care and my Partner’s help.
There is an option to stay in the indoor rooms if that is something you’d prefer but the huts really tickled my fancy.
Facilities
The Stonehenge fire pit was one of the first things to catch our eye after the mini Stonehenge in the car park. We spent a good few hours around that firepit, drinking and enjoying the atmosphere.
Inside they had signage about a WW1 well they had recently discovered when they were trying to make room for more accommodation. It was very cute but the staff say it’s been a great find for them as they have actually become lucky since its discovery
The other feature at the Stonehenge Inn is the Beauty Salon. Nestled between the huts was another hut which from the outside looked unremarkable but once you got inside it was a stunning treasure cove- Very pink! and so relaxing. Ana who co-owns the Stonehenge Inn also runs the beauty salon and has many offers and gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Ana has over a decade of beauty experience and such a wonderful personality too.
There are other features such as the mini Stonehenge in the car park and the bouncy castle but one the locals are quite proud of is the restaurant and takeaway service.

My partner had a Mesolithic Chicken burger that he mentioned was very succulent and I had a Chilli hotdog that was also delicious and was complemented by the bottle of Prosecco.
The prices were extremely reasonable too!
Nearby Attractions
The local area had much to offer such as Stonehenge, Woodhenge, Salisbury, Old Sarum, New Forest National Park, and Longleat Safari park, but if you fancied going a little further out – there is also Poole and Bournemouth which we visit quite regularly.
On this trip, we managed to make it to see the Grave of Mary Shelley (the author of Frankenstein and a pioneer for Women’s literary success!) located at Saint Peter’s Church, Bournemouth. There is also another less well-known beach a little further afield in Poole. “Hamworthy Park” is one of the best beaches I’ve ever been to. Especially for people with younger children as it boasts a grassy park, a small paddling pool park, and access to both a sandy and a stony beach making it a real people pleaser!
A final note:
All in all the Stonehenge Inn has become a fast favorite for me and my Partner. We are very much looking forward to our next chance to get down there. I loved it so much I intend to have my hen/bachelorette night down there! I would highly recommend going there even if you just pop in for a pint or burger on your way past and remember to check out the fire pit!
